Meltem Şahin made a total of 16 drawings as she listened to the poem from the poets' sound recordings during two live performances in collaboration with Border_less and Performistanbul. While drawing the poem “Anıt Sayaç” during her performances, Şahin sought a visual contact for the dialogue between the two poets by enclosing herself in a chamber of verses. In this room, the installation which consists of monoprint drawings, the negative plexiglass of the drawings, and a chamber enclosing the verses aims to give the audience, through this contact, a transcendental experience similar to the feeling Şahin experienced.
