At the international day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, I made a live drawing performance called “One's Pain Does Not Migrate To The Other” in collaboration with Performistanbul.
I listened to over and over again Birhan Keskin and Aslı Serin's poem "Anıt Sayaç" which deals with femicide while I was drawing using the mono-print technique. "Anıt Sayaç" had been reconfigured and divided into 32 lines by Elvin Eroğlu.
In my performance, I placed myself into a circle of lines, searching for a way to create a visual connection with the dialogue between the two poets in the poem. Within the scope of this project, 160. Kilometer publications published my drawings in a book under the editorship of Elvin Eroğlu. Documentation of the performance displayed in border_less Art Book Days 2021.
I realized this drawing performance by broadcasting live synchronized broadcasts on Zoom and Instagram as part of Performistanbul, the Stay Live at Home series.
